Cognitive and Behavioral Profile in Dyslexia: Challenges in Interdisciplinary Assessment

The diagnostic assessment in Dyslexia must be carried out an interdisciplinary way, prioritizing cognitive, phonoaudiological, psychopedagogical and biological aspects. In this sense, the aim of study was to compare cognitive behavioral profile two individuals with Developmental (DD), discuss importance also describe main academic impacts. These patients were treated at a neuropediatrics outpatient clinic public health network Brazil. criteria for selecting participants diagnosis given by clinic, comorbidities Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder excluded from study. evaluated areas neuropsychology, speech therapy, psychopedagogy medicine, order obtain global patients’ functioning. results indicated presence multivariate profiles reinforced view subsequent planning interventions.
